AIRBAG DEVICE FOR PROTECTING PEDESTRIAN

摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an airbag device for protecting a pedestrian capable of preventing the pedestrian thrown over a hood panel from falling on a road surface.

SOLUTION: This airbag device M1 for protecting a pedestrian is provided with an airbag 11 expanding in a front side of a vehicle V and disposed between the pedestrian and the vehicle. The airbag 11 is provided with a front cover part 12 covering the front side of the vehicle and two fall prevention parts 13, 14 covering near both right and left ends on an upper surface side of the hood panel 9 of the vehicle respectively and projected upwards to prevent the pedestrian from falling.
