<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve energy efficiency of a vehicle and to secure stability at traveling time. <P>SOLUTION: In this hybrid automobile, an engine and a front wheel motor are connected to an axle of a front wheel via a CVT, and a rear wheel motor is connected to an axle of a rear wheel. When a traveling state of the vehicle is in a stable state, required motive power P* set on the basis of accelerator operation of a driver is distributed to required motive power Pe* of the engine and required motive power Pm* of the motor (S130), and required powers Pm1* and Pm2* of the respective motors are set so that the the required motive power Pm* of the motor is efficiently outputted to the front-rear wheels. When the traveling state of the vehicle is not in the stable state, the required motive power P* is distributed to the front-rear wheels so as to become the load distribution ratio, and the required motive power Pe* of the engine and the required powers Pm1* and Pm2* of the respective motors are set (S150 and S150) and the engine, both motors and the CVT are controlled in driving. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
