<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow a call to be originated by an IP telephone set in a position where a gate keeper device GK is not installed, and to be terminated by another IP telephone set in the same position or a public telephone network at the time of occurrence of an IP network fault in an IP telephone system having IP telephone sets or the like distributedly installed in a plurality of positions. <P>SOLUTION: A GK R8 which has functions of GK and takes only IP telephone sets 3 in a position B and a gateway GW 4b as processing objects is provided in the position B, and the IP address of the GK R8 is registered in a plurality of IP telephone sets 3 in the position B and the GW 4b as the IP address of a GK 5 provided in a position A instead of the IP address of the GK 5, and control signals transmitted from the plurality of IP telephone sets 3 in the position B and the GW 4b out of control signals transmitted and received between the plurality of IP telephone sets 3 as well as the GW 4b and the GK 5 are temporarily received by the GK R8 and then are relayed to the GK 5, and control signals transmitted from the GK 5 are temporarily received by the GK R8 and then are relayed to the plurality of IP telephone sets 3 in the position B and the GW 4b. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO</p> |
