PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a kick-starting type internal combustion engine in which a primary driven gear and a starter driven gear are miniaturized, and manufacturing cost is saved. SOLUTION: In an internal combustion engine for a motorcycle having a kick type starter, a starter driven gear 21 with the power from the kick type starter transmitted thereto is integrally provided on one side surface of a primary driven gear 11 to transmit the power to a transmission side from a crank shaft 3, and a projecting portion 11a to be fitted to a spigot joint portion 12b of a clutch outer 12a is integrally provided on the other side surface of the primary driven gear 11. The primary driven gear 11, the starter driven gear 21 and the projecting portion 11a are integrally compression-molded, and sintered. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
