The sticking plaster, to monitor the condition of a patient, takes parameter measurements from the skin either using the electrical potential as ECG or electroencephalograph (EEG) measurements or as a glucose sensor. At least one physiological parameter is registered as a function of time, and the data are displayed before or after their analysis. The actual data are compared with nominal values, to establish if there is an emergency situation. An emergency is defined as a break in the monitoring action with the last measured data in store, playing over the last recorded data including emergency data into a second store, and generation of an emergency signal.
