PURPOSE: A filter and a method are provided to achieve improved operating reliability of the filter by stably forming a metal mesh and a photoresist pattern on the surface of the substrate. CONSTITUTION: A filter comprises a substrate(21); a photoresist pattern(23) formed on the surface of the substrate, and which contains a pigment for shielding light of a specified wavelength area and a material for preventing reflection of light; an electroless plated layer(24) formed on the surface of the substrate between the photoresist patterns; and a plated mesh(25) formed on the electroless plated layer through an electro-plating process.
