<p>A lightweight crankshaft ( 1 ), with eccentric structures, such as con-rods, main bearings, etc., comprises cavities ( 2, 3, 4, 5, 7, 10, 12 ) and/or recesses ( 8 ) for weight reduction, both in the region of the axis of rotation and isolated therefrom in the region of the eccentric structures. According to the invention at least one cavity is provided ( 2, 3, 4, 6, 7, 10, 12 ) in which a stabilizing filler material ( 5 ) is located.
