PURPOSE: A method for automatically controlling a bell volume of a mobile communication terminal is provided to automatically control a bell volume according to an ambient noise degree as recognized by using a microphone. CONSTITUTION: When a noise signal is recognized as a microphone level through a microphone of a mobile terminal(301), a corresponding level signal is transferred to an ADC circuit(302), where the random analog signal is converted into a digital signal and then transmitted to an ADC port of a CPU(303). The CPU compares a level of an arbitrary signal with 8-stage levels of speaker gain level data which have been previously inputted in a table of a non-volatile memory(304). If the level of the arbitrary signal is identical to one of the 8-stage levels of the speaker gain level data, the corresponding signal is transferred to the CPU(306). The corresponding signal is modulated into an analog signal by a codec, amplified by a speaker amplifier, and then, outputted through a speaker(307).
