PURPOSE: A caller ID informing method is provided to allow a callee to be informed about a caller even without visually checking a phone number of the caller by converting the caller information into a voice. CONSTITUTION: When a caller makes a call to a callee through a mobile terminal, a mobile terminal of the callee receives corresponding caller information(phone number). The mobile terminal of the callee searches a phone book of a memory to check whether the received caller information is a phone number stored in the memory. If the same caller information is stored in the phone book, the mobile terminal of the callee converts the caller information into a voice signal to inform the callee and displays the phone number and a name of the caller on an LCD window of the mobile terminal. If the caller information of the caller is not a stored one in the phone book, the phone number of the caller is converted into a voice to inform the callee accordingly.
