PURPOSE: A method for editing a dot image is provided to modify the second dot image such that the second dot image can have the same pixel configuration as the first dot image, and to enable an image editing operator to simultaneously confirm edited states of an original image and a small dot image, thereby minimizing editing errors. CONSTITUTION: An image input unit inputs a selected original image as an edited image(ST401). The first image processor and a display portion display the first dot image in the first region(ST402). A size controller converts size of the first dot image(ST403). The size controller converts size of the first and second dot images, and the first image converter and the display portion re-process the size-converted images, and display the processed images in the first or the second region(ST404,ST405). If an operator modifies each pixel configuring the first dot image(ST406), the first image processor and the display portion dot-process the modified pixels in real time, and display the processed images(ST407). If the operator moves the displayed images(ST408), the first image processor and the display portion display the images in the first and second regions. The operator adjusts edges of the edited second dot image(ST409).
