PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a support structure of an overhead line that can improve a power collection capability by suppressing the generation of a reflected wave at a fixed point of the overhead line such as a trolley line. SOLUTION: In the support structure of the trolley line, the overhead trolley line 11 is supported by hanging from a support structure 2 through a damper 3 at the position separated by a distance L(m) from the fixed point where the trolley line 11 is vertically fixed, in the opposite direction from the wave direction of the trolley line 11. The distance L(m) is set as formula 1, where f is the wave frequency (Hz) of the trolley line,ρis the density (kg/m) of the trolley line, and T is the tension (N) of the trolley line.
