<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a process for manufacturing a long ceramic sintered compact which is suitable for mass production and prevents the sintered compact from bending by sintering a long material to be sintered having a long, thin hole extending in the longitudinal direction. <P>SOLUTION: The long ceramic sintered compact is manufactured by sintering the long material 1 having the long, thin hole 4 extending in the longitudinal direction.
