VEHICLE NAVIGATION SYSTEM AND CONTROLLING METHOD THEREOF

PURPOSE: A vehicle navigation system and a controlling method thereof are provided to consult a user's convenience by guiding a vehicle from a deviated path to a searched path. CONSTITUTION: A vehicle navigation system includes a transmitting/receiving unit(210), a navigation sensor unit(220), a voice processing unit(240), a display unit(250), and a control unit(230). The transmitting/receiving unit(210) transmits a path search request to a path search server and receives main path data and auxiliary path data from the path search server. The navigation sensor unit(220) measures a present position of a vehicle on a vehicle path. The voice processing unit(240) outputs the path data as audio signals. The display unit(250) outputs the path data as video signals. The control unit(230) controls a navigating operation of the vehicle according to the main path data by comparing the main path data to the present position of the vehicle on the vehicle path.
