<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method, a device and a system for providing a content provider with a method of stably multicasting data flow only to valid end users. <P>SOLUTION: By performing special determination regarding each user, who could be a valid end user requesting a particular data flow, it is possible to taking different subscriber profiles into account. Further, by allowing a switch and/or a router to control the particular data flow to a particular end user, end-to-end encryption is avoided. Each end user transmits a request DTU for permission, to join a multicast group to the switch and/or the router. If request is determined as being not valid or not authentic, the particular data flow ends. When the request is valid or authentic, the data flow is permitted to flow, without being interrupted by the switch and/or the router. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO</p> |
