PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an X-ray inspection system capable of continuously carrying out X-ray inspection, and capable of reducing leakage of an X-ray to the outside of the system. SOLUTION: The X-ray inspection system is provided with conveying means 50, 20, and 51 for conveying an article M, and an X-ray shielding member 30 provided on a conveyance path of the article M. It is characterized by that the X-ray shielding member 30 comprises a metal plate divided into a plurality of pieces in a plane substantially orthogonal to a conveyance direction Y of the article M, each metal plate is provided so as to freely rotate around a predetermined axis without mutual constraint, and the metal plates turn by abutting of the conveyed article M to allow conveyance of the article M.
