PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing granulated soil, by which soft soil by-produced in civil engineering works can be reutilized as a back-filling material at a largely lowered cost without affecting human bodies, plants and the like. SOLUTION: This method for producing the granulated soil is characterized by adding a hydraulic material and at least one acid to soft soil. The hydraulic material is at least one material selected from cement / lime, portland cement, mixed cement, a solidifying material for improving land, specific cement, calcined lime, slaked lime, and gypsum.
