PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect a face mark included in document data while reducing the burdens of both a manager of an information providing server and a device user.

SOLUTION: A document acquiring part 2 acquires the document data through an e-mail, etc. A left side face contour detecting part 3 detects a left side face contour such as "(" included in the document data. A right side face contour detecting part 4 detects a right side face contour such as ")" which is the closest to the right side of the detected left side face contour. A face mark element detecting part 5 detects characters used as a face mark element such as a symbol character among characters between contours being characters located between the detected left and right side face contours. A ratio calculating part 15 calculates a ratio in which face mark elements occupy among the characters between the contours. A face mark determining part 8 includes symbol characters that are adjacent horizontally to a character string between the detected left and right side face contours in the character string and determines them to be a face mark if the ratio is greater than a reference ratio.
