<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a low-priced writing utensil which is simply structured of a few number of components and can be easily assembled or need not be assembled at all with an outstanding appearance and the easiness to highlight its design features. <P>SOLUTION: This cap of a writing utensil is structured of a cap body (1) having an attachment part (9) to a writing utensil body and a clip (2) formed on the cap body (1). The clip (2) comprises a clip support (4) fixed to the cap body (1) and a clip piece (3) supported by the clip support (4). On the inner surface side of the clip (2), an engagement part (5) protruding in the inward direction of the cap body (1) is provided and the engagement part (5) is formed behind the open edge (14) of the cap body (1) which is inserted onto and retracted from the writing tip. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
