PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus capable of easily securing an anchoring device to a spinal rod of a spine securing system. SOLUTION: This apparatus for easily securing bteween the spinal rod 402 and the anchoring device 404 having a head part 406 with a U-shaped groove 414 and a locking cap 430 for securing the spinal rod 402 to the head part 406, is provided with a handle 148; a tubular body 108 connected to the handle 148; a pair of jaws 112, 114 attached to the tubular body 108; a rod persuader 102 for advancing the spinal rod 402 toward the anchoring device 404; and a locking shaft 104 for locking the locking cap 430 to the anchoring device 404 to secure the spinal rod 402 relatively to the anchoring device 404.
