PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a controller for an intermediate switch wherein the communication and control function of a group child station and line child station distributed so far are integrated. SOLUTION: The controller for an intermediate switch monitors and controls opening/closing of a plurality of lines under monitoring and control command from a master station for the purpose of backing up the power supply line of a substation. It comprises a central processor 1 that communicates with the master station and integrally manages monitoring end controlling of opening/closing of a plurality of lines, and an input/output means 2 for inputting/outputting from a plurality of lines. A process means 3 measures a plurality of lines and detects accident as a load management function. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
