PURPOSE: A system and a method for Internet broadcasting of sky wave/cable broadcasting contents are provided to offer transmission possibility of the broadcasting contents, and connection continuance between a user client and a server to a user while a broadcasting server provides an Internet broadcasting service to the user. CONSTITUTION: A database(230) stores/operates information for the broadcasting contents and the user. A query control module(212) judges a current state for providing the Internet broadcasting, and controls a query, a message, and an order transmitted/received from the user client in response to a judgment result. A reconnection control module(216) detects a reconnection request transmitted from the client user and reopens connection with the user client by responding to the judgment result of the query control module. A broadcasting contents control module(214) controls the transmission of the broadcasting contents to the client user by responding to the judgment result and the reconnection operation.
