START UP OF APPLICATION ON INFORMATION PROCESSOR BY MEANS OF PORTABLE UNIT

A portable information processor comprises a signal processor, a memory, a display, an input unit and a radio transceiver. The signal processor transmits a part of identification data selected by a user from the identification data, e.g. geographical address URL and/or e-mail address, stored in the memory to another information processor through the radio transceiver in order to start an application related to the identification data. The signal processor in the information processor receives the selected identification data through the radio transceiver, starts an application related to that identification data and delivers the identification data to the started application.
