PURPOSE: Provided is a therapeutic agent for AIDS comprising immuneserum induced by the antigen of Orientia tsutsugamushi as an active ingredient, and pharmaceutically acceptable carriers. The immuneserum is also used for the development of AIDS vaccine. CONSTITUTION: An therapeutic agent for AIDS is characterized by containing, as an active ingredient, immuneserum of Orientia tsutsugamushi and pharmaceutically acceptable carriers selected from binding agents, disintergrants, diluents, lubricants, sweetening agents, stabilizing agents, preservatives, flavoring agents, or mixture thereof.
