PURPOSE: An apparatus for separating scrap coil remained on sleeve is provided to improve working efficiency and prevent safety accident by removing scrap coil using mechanical appliance. CONSTITUTION: The apparatus comprises a lower separation pipe(49) to which a fixed link is fixed by hinge so that scrap stopping roller(55) is installed at the fixed link; an upper separation pipe(51) which is elastically supportingly connected to the lower separation pipe through connection rods(61), to which connection link is fixed by hinge so that sleeve stopping roller is installed on the connection link, and into which a scrap coil remained sleeve is inserted; a wedge means for separating the sleeve (SL) from the scrap coil (SC) by lifting and lowering a wedge at the upper side of the upper separation pipe so that the scrap stopping roller and the sleeve stopping roller are rotated to the inside and outside of the pipe; and a resting part comprising a body of revolution(15) which is vertically moved along a wave formed curved rail(27) and rotated by rotation motor(13) installed on the fixed base(11), and on which the lower separation pipe is removably rested, a fixed guide rod(21) vertically set up on the fixed base, and a clamp(23) which is installed at the fixed guide rod, and to the inner surface of which permanent magnets(45) are adhered in such a way that the clamp surrounds the scrap coil with the clamp being spaced apart from the outer side of the scrap coil.
