PURPOSE: A system and a method for an escrow service, and a recording medium storing a computer program source for the same are provided to transmit transaction information between individuals to a bank, safely stores the data based on Internet banking and firm banking, and safely pay/repay price to a transaction joiner through a confirmation function between contracting parties in the transaction. CONSTITUTION: An escrow operation server(125C) connects to a web server(115) and a mail server(120), issues a virtual escrow account by a request from a buyer(300), a seller, and a relay organization(500), and stores the transaction information contracted between the seller and the buyer or the relay organization through the Internet(200). If the price for the bought goods is received to the virtual escrow account, the escrow operation server pays the price to the seller after confirming delivery of the goods to the buyer, and stores the transaction particulars information. An electronic money operation server(130) manages/operates the transaction using the electronic cash. A database server(140) stores various kinds of data related to a bank business.
