PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To video-record one program in a plurality of optical disks dividedly and seamlessly. SOLUTION: In continuous video-recording, one program is recorded in a plurality of optical disks DS dividedly. In this case, a CPU 30 monitors a residual recording time of the optical disk DS during recording, when scene change is caused in a state in which a residual recording time is less than the prescribed time, the CPU 30 controls a disk change mechanism 1 and change an optical disk DS. recording data is stored in a recording buffer 13 during charge, when change of the optical disk DS is finished, continuation of recording data is recorded in a new optical disk DS.
