PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a new turf disease-controlling agent which can effectively control turf diseases, especially Rhizoctonia solani and Sclerotinia homoeocarpa. SOLUTION: This turf disease-controlling agent is characterized by containing a substituted thiophene derivative represented by formula (1) as an active ingredient, and a method for controlling the turf disease is characterized by using this turf disease-controlling agent.
