摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a blood pressure measuring apparatus capable of obtaining an accurate maximum blood pressure. <P>SOLUTION: The blood pressure measuring apparatus 10 comprises a cuff 12 having a first rubber bladder 16 for avascularization for carrying out avascularization of the ankle and a second rubber bladder 14 for detecting a pulse wave which is formed in one piece with and arranged on the down stream end of the inner circumference of the first rubber bladder 16, a first piping 24 connected to the first rubber bladder 16, a second piping 36 connected to the second rubber bladder 14, an air pump 34 for supplying the air to the first rubber bladder 16 and the second rubber bladder 14, and an electromagnetic valve 42 installed in the middle of the second piping 36. In use, the air from the air pump 34 is first supplied to the second rubber bladder 14 by communicating with the electromagnetic valve 42. The electromagnetic valve is then made in a cutting condition and the pulse wave transmitted from the artery to the first rubber bladder 16 is no more transmitted to the second rubber bladder 14 via the first piping 24 and the second piping 36. In such a condition, the change of the amplitude A2 of the second pulse wave detected by the second rubber bladder 14 becomes clear and the accuracy of measuring the maximum pressure is improved. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
