PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide new ointment and patch for outer skin effective for the treatment of pain, swelling and itchiness caused by insect sting or snake bite.

SOLUTION: The ointment for outer skin is produced by immersing a slug in an edible oil for a definite period to cause the degradation and dissolution of the slug and the elution of the slug component into the oil and using the obtained oil as a main agent. The patch for outer skin is produced by immersing the slug in the edible oil for the definite period to cause the degradation and dissolution of the slug and the elution of the slug component into the oil and applying the oil to the surface of an air-permeable substrate.
