PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a solid detergent that is readily dissolved in water, quickly generates foam of creaminess, body and smooth spreading properties and leaves humectant feeling on the skin after rinsing. SOLUTION: This solid detergent comprises a component (a) which includes one or two or more kinds of polyethylene glycols each having an average-molecular weight of 5,000-30,000 and a component (b) which includes an anionic surfactant and solidifies at a normal temperature (25°C). Preferably, the amount of component (a) is 10-80 %. and that of component (b) is 10-80 %. More preferably, the component (b) is composed of an N-acylamino acid salt, while the component (a) has an average molecular weight of 10,000-20,000. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
