PURPOSE:To improve the reliability of a superconducting device by a method wherein a connecting part is provided in parallel with the direction of a magnetic field, and the current capacity of the connecting part is prevented from lowering considerably, or the current capacity is increased on the contrary. CONSTITUTION:Twenty-four superconducting filaments 2 and 2' are buried in copper on superconducting wires 1 and 1'. A spot welding is used on the connecting points 3 of the superconducting filaments 2 and 2'. The connecting spot 3 is put in a copper pipe for mechanical protection and electric stabilization, and it is fixed by solder 4. When the connecting part 3 is provided on the place where a magnetic field is added, the necessary current capacity can be sufficiently secured by disposing it in parallel with the direction of magnetic field. |
