PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a line filter which assures higher attenuation characteristic in the higher frequency range. SOLUTION: A coil is formed of a first winding 30 and a second winding 31. The first winding 30 is wound in the single layer in the same direction as the axial direction of a winding axis 21 toward the center area from one end of a bobbin 23, and is also wound in the single layer in the vertical direction to the axial direction of the winding axis 21 toward the external circumferential direction from the center area of the bobbin 23.
