PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical transmitter receiver which has high effect of prevention against unnecessary radiation and heat radiation effect while an optical fiber is excellently protected. SOLUTION: The optical transmitter receiver is constituted by optically coupling one end of the optical fiber 4 with an optical module 3 housed in a housing 2, leading the opposite end of the optical fiber 4 out through a through hole 5 provided to the housing 2, and mounting a boot 7 on a base end part of the optical fiber 4.
