PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a door stop mounted to a door frame or the like constituting the door frame, a sliding door frame and an opening transom frame of a common frame material and having no need to form a fitting groove for mounting the door stop to the door frame so as to uniformly come into contact with the door stop when a door is closed. SOLUTION: The door stop is constituted of two pieces of a base 1 and a cover material 7, and a plurality of slots 24 extended in the direction of the width are formed in a base bottom piece 20 having an approximately U-shaped section so that the cover material 7 can be engaged with the base 1 and mounted thereto.
