AN OLAP-BASED NAÏVE BAYES CLASSIFICATION METHOD

摘要

A method for finding statistical significant classification rules in a multidimensional data cube is disclosed. The new method makes use of some properties of the aggregated data in the cube to drastically reduce the computation time needed to find the classification rules. The invention we are presenting here is related to a new implementation of the well-known Naïve Bayes algorithm in an OLAP-based environment.
