<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reflection preventing film having satisfactory adhesiveness of a coat layer by taking a method for using indium/tin oxide. <P>SOLUTION: The reflection preventing film, in which a middle refractive index layer, a high refractive index layer and a low refractive index layer are sequentially laminated on at least one face of a transparent substrate from a base material side, is characterized in that the middle refractive index layer is a titanium oxide film derived from alkoxide of titanium, and the ratio of elements existing in a range of a high refractive index layer side of the middle refractive index layer to film thickness 1/5 satisfies 2.0≤O/Ti≤3.0 and 0≤C(Ti+O+C)≤0.1. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
