<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a folding type image forming device with a paper feed tray and a paper discharge tray having sufficient required functions when in use and compactly storable in a device body when not in use. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming device comprises a foldable structural member. The foldable structural member is the paper feed tray 1 or the paper discharge tray 2. Part of the paper feed tray 1 is foldable and storable to the side of one side face 31 of the device body 3 and the paper discharge tray 2 is foldable and storable along two faces, a bottom face 32 and the other side face 33 of the device body 3.
