GUIDE-WIRE INSERTION TOOL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a guide-wire insertion tool by which a guide-wire is surely and simply indwelt by Seldinger method and the manual skill of Seldinger method is simplified.

SOLUTION: The guide-wire insertion tool is provided with: a cylinder 1b which has a syringe barrel 3 fitted into the side of one end and a puncturing needle 18 fitted to the side of the other end; a through hole 16 formed at the cylinder 1b for putting the guide-wire through to the tip of the punctuating needle without detaching the barrel 3; a valve 5A consisting of elastic material mounted to the through hole 16; and the guide-wire 6 which previously passes through the valve 5A to be put through the inside of the through hole 16. The valve 5A and the guide-wire 6 are kept air/liquid-tight with each other.
