PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problems wherein the positional accuracy of a beam composite prism is worse, the workability of incorporation in a beam composite prism device is worse, and a defective rate is high, etc., in a 2-beam optical scanning device. SOLUTION: The beam composite prism for compounding 2 beams and a cylindrical lens are fixed to a fixing member, and the fixing member is fixed to the base of the optical scanning device.
