A radiographic image conversion panel comprises a support and a photostimulable phosphor layer having a film thickness of 50 mu m-1 mm and luminescence wavelength peaks of 350-450 nm. An independent claim is also included for a method for manufacturing a radiographic image conversion panel having a photostimulable phosphor layer, comprising forming the layer according to a vapor phase growth.
