PURPOSE: Provided is a luminous fragrant agent distinguishable in the dark, which emits a favorable fragrance as well as gives a decoration effect. A method for preparing the luminous fragrant agent is also provided. CONSTITUTION: The method for preparing a luminous fragrant agent comprises the steps of: mixing 68-88 wt% of isoparaffin, 0.1-1.0 wt% of an anti-oxidant, 0.1-1.0 wt% of a dye and a UV protecting agent, 8-18 wt% of a fluorescent pigment and 3-13 wt% of a orange-scented solution; heating the mixture gradually in a heater; further solidifying the heated mixture at 25-30 deg.C to form the luminous fragrant agent. Alternatively, 5-15 wt% of a photoluminescent pigment and 0.8-8 wt% of a coloring agent are used, instead of the fluorescent pigment.
