PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a refrigerator not reducing its inside effective capacity so much while allowing replacement of a shelf plate even when its door cannot be opened by 90°or more. SOLUTION: This refrigerator is provided with an outside plate, an inside box, a heat insulating material arranged between an outside box and the inside box, a storage room having a plurality of shelf plates inside, and a shelf plate receiving shaft buried inside the side face of the storage room and protruded to the inside of the storage room for placing the shelf plates.
