PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printing tape and a tape printer, which enable the easy peeling of a label part which makes a boundary between the label part and a margin part hard to discern at a glance and wherein the position of the start of the peeling of the label part is hard to identify, in terms of a label tape wherein the label part peelable by virtue of half-cut treatment is formed. SOLUTION: A control mechanism 90 of the tape printer 40 prints a peeling mark 100, which indicates the peeling starting position so that the label part 16 can be easy to peel, inside the label part 16 or in the margin part 17, when printing is done on the label part 16 peelable from a release tape 13 which is formed on the label tape 10.
