PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the dust collection efficiency by eliminating or shortening the piping connecting a pad cover and a dust box as much as possible, to make the attaching/detaching of the dust box very easy, and to improve the operability by eliminating obstacles in the operation caused by the presence of the dust box on a floor surface polisher with a dust collection function. SOLUTION: In the floor surface polisher, dust produced from the rotation of a pad 4 is carried on the swirling air flow caused by the rotation of the pad 4 from inside the pad cover 5 to the dust box 10 and collected. After the dust is collected, air without dust is returned into the pad cover 5. The dust box 10 can be attached to/detached from the pad cover 5 or a main cover 2 with the pad cover 5.
