<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for simply preparing a patent specification concerned with a new invention only by basic knowledge. <P>SOLUTION: The patent specification preparing method consists of a process 1 for inputting components extracted from the patent claims of a new invention to a system, a process 2 for inputting the problems and effects of the new invention, a process 3 for retrieving the patent claims of applied patents stored in a database which correspond to the inputted components, a process 4 for extracting patent journals including most components coincident with the components of the new invention, a process 5 for extracting patent journals having similarity to the problems and effects of the new invention from the extracted information, a process 6 for substituting the problems and effects of the new invention for the problems and effects of the invention of the extracted patent journal, a process 7 for substituting the patent claims of the new invention for the patent claims of the extracted patent journal, a process 8 for substituting the patent claims of the new invention for a means for solving the problems of the extracted patent journal, and a process 9 for explaining components which are not explained yet. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
