PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a building for small-scale business which is constructed so as to eliminate a large quantity of simultaneous construction works at a site in a short period of time, and facilitates the dismantling, movement, etc. thereof, and to provide a method of constructing the building. SOLUTION: A small-scale shop 10 is constructed by detachably installing building units 20 in non-sales sections 16, 18 on a mat foundation 12, detachably mounting studs 26 and wall panels 28 on the building units 20, and finally detachably setting roof units 32 and sashes 28 on the same. These component elements of the shop are manufactured in a factory beforehand and therefore construction steps in a site are reduced. Therefore a large quantity of the simultaneous construction works at the site in a short period of time can be eliminated, and further the component elements can be easily dismantled or moved because they are detachable.
