摘要 <p>In an image display device for scanning a primary image and generating a secondary image, it is possible to improve light projection efficiency and save power as well as to reduce a projected image error accompanying the highly efficient light projection. An optical scan device, an image position calibration method, and an image display method are also disclosed. In the image display device, scanning means (2) performs scanning in both directions of the outward route and the homeward route and projects light. The image display device includes an angle sensor (16) for reading the angle of the scanning means (2) and a position sensitive device (15) for sensing the position of the projected light. In a system control circuit (10), the angle data and the position data obtained are processed by an angle data correction section (13) and an optical position detection section (14). The phase delay of the output of the angle sensor (16) is determined and the modulation projection timing is adjusted so that the phase delay is corrected and the image positions projected in the outward route and the homeward route are matched.</p>
