<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image input/output device, the structure of which can be simplified. <P>SOLUTION: This image input/output device is provided with a printer housing 2 having a bag part 44 extending cylindrically from an opening part formed in a top part toward a bottom part and housing a printing means, a scanner housing 3 mounted on an upper part of the printer housing 2 and housing an image reading means, a base part 14 being a hinge for connecting the scanner housing 3 to the printer housing 2 in a freely rockable way and insert-fitted to the bag part 44, a turnable body 11 attached to the scanner housing 3 and supported by the base part 14 in a freely turnable way, and energizing means 12, 13 and 111 for applying torque to the turnable body 11 in the direction of separating the scanner housing 3 from the printer housing 2 and applying torque to the base part 14 in a direction opposite from the turnable body 11. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
