<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the manufacture yield of a memory card connector by enhancing its strength to prevent a plate from slipping off or a housing from being damaged. <P>SOLUTION: This memory card connector is mounted on a memory card reader, etc. This card connector has a casing part having a slot 5 for inserting a memory card 6 thereinto and housing the memory card 6 inserted thereinto, and a terminal part 3 connected to a terminal part of the inserted memory card 6. The casing part comprises the plate 2 made of metal and the housing 3 made of plastics, and is assembled by inserting a protrusive part 31 formed on a top part of a side wall of the housing 3 into a slit formed in a folded part 21 of the plate 2 made of metal. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
