<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an antireflection coating and antireflection film which are low in reflectivity, are excellent in scratching resistance and stainproof properties, are suitable for mass production, and have excellent durability and weatherability, and an image forming apparatus using these. <P>SOLUTION: The antireflection coating has a low-refractive index layer formed by coating and curing of a film-forming composition containing at least one of a monofunctional coupling compound of which the main chain is composed of the recurring units essentially composed of a perfluoroethylenyl component and which has a silyl group at the terminal of the main chain and a silane coupling agent.
